This Week in the World Affairs Brief
TRUMP’S NOMINATIONS—SOME GOOD, SOME BAD
Trump is coming into office from a much different position than 8 years ago. He has learned that he can’t trust recommendations from the Republican establishment after his prior disastrous choices for AG and FBI Director and the Deep State appointees he made thereafter that betrayed him. This time he’s going all-out for people who he feels will be loyal to him and his agenda. The upside to four years of persecutions by the press and political prosecutions against him is that many who feigned loyalty to him have revealed their true natures—but not all. During that time Trump remained the favorite of republican voters, so conservatives and RINOs alike still professed loyalty—whether feigned or real. And Trump is still Trump and continues to be deceived through flattery and servile yesmanship. Consequently all of his picks are from those who appear conservative on the surface and been openly supportive of Trump. But the label of “conservative” can range from a strict constitutional and family values conservative to a neocon, and, unfortunately, Trump has chosen from both camps—including several with suspicious backgrounds filled with contradictions and some with moral corruption—and virtually none experienced in tackling a huge bureaucracy.. But, his biggest failure is finding and selecting a single person who knows the history of conspiracies and illegal acts of government. Trump’s vow to dismantle the Deep State will fail without such knowledge and guidance on how to ferret out the darkest secrets of government and those behind them. Those Nevada voter integrity types use 1980s technology so they cannot see this in close to real time - so they claim it is not a thing.
Well, ask Sam Brown - because he isn’t being beaten by dead voters, he is being beaten by voters who moved but their ballot did not move with them.
Kari Lake in Arizona - same story, different way to steal it.
Trump won both states handily - and we are to believe voters waited in line for hours, worked a multi-page Arizona ballot, and voted for Trump then cross voted for the guy who dumped a 9 month pregnant wife for a hotter deal?
Doubt it.
Ratcliffe served as director of national intelligence during the first Trump term.
"That caught us by surprise a little bit. But I asked him what the reasoning was, and he said, well, you can't have too many absences. So under Florida State law, there's about an eight week period to, select and fill in a vacancy. And so by doing so today, that allows me I've already placed a call to Governor DeSantis in Florida and said, let's start the clock. He's in Italy at the moment. And so we're going to talk first thing in the morning about this. And if we start the clock now, if you do the math, we may be able to fill that seat as early as January 3rd when we take the new oath of office for the new Congress."

A defeated special counsel Jack Smith and his team are planning to resign before President-elect Donald Trump takes office, the NY Times reports, citing a source familiar with the matter.
Even with all that, worse was planned. On July 26, 2020, with the George Floyd riots having finally settled down, the CDC issued a plan for establishing nationwide quarantine camps. People were to be isolated, given only food and some cleaning supplies. They would be banned from participating in any religious services. The plan included contingencies for preventing suicide. There were no provisions made for any legal appeals or even the right to legal counsel.
The plan’s authors were unnamed but included 26 footnotes. It was completely official. The document was only removed on about March 26, 2023. During the entire intervening time, the plan survived on the CDC’s public site with little to no public notice or controversy.
It was called “Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings.”
"We conducted for the first time, an air attack with a squadron of qualitative suicide drones, on the Kirya base (the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of War and General Staff, the War Management Room, and the Air Force’s Military Control and Oversight Authority) in the city of Tel Aviv, and hit its targets accurately."
If true this would mark a significant escalation. Not only would it mean that Israel's most sensitive command infrastructure is exposed, but it would mark a significant failure of Israel's advanced anti-air defense systems.
